Full-Time Temporary Secondary Campus Supervisor (4)

 

Full-Time Campus Supervisors:  Campus Supervisors will assist the school administration with the supervision of students, student activities, and other duties as assigned by the building Principal and Director of Safe Schools.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Must be 21 years of age.
  2. No misdemeanor or felony arrests or convictions.
  3. Must have a valid Arkansas Driver's License with no conviction for careless driving, reckless driving, or DWI in the last five years.
  4. Must be willing to submit and pass a drug test upon request.
  5. Must be able to successfully clear background checks - Arkansas State Police as well as FBI and the Department of Human Services-Child Maltreatment check.
  6. Supervise designated areas of the campus, including grounds, classrooms, parking lots, cafeteria, restrooms, and locker rooms to enforce school rules with regard to safety and student behavior.
  7. Maintain constant two-way radio contact with other campus supervisors and the school.
  8. Inform students and campus visitors of rules and regulations.
  9. Check for and report actual and potential safety hazards to the appropriate administrators.
  10. Enforce the clean campus policies.
  11. Refer parking violations to the school office.
  12. Communicate with local law enforcement officials when necessary.
  13. Supervise the on-campus suspension room as needed.
  14. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community;
    communicate with students and staff to provide and receive information regarding school
  15. Direct traffic in the school parking lot, especially during drop-off and pick-up times for students and parents. Assist in the crosswalk duties to stop vehicles so that students can enter and exit campus.
  16. Metal Detectors training

  18. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  19. References should be available upon request.
  20. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The work environment is generally in a school setting or on a school district with frequent contact with students and adults. The environment ranges from working inside to working outside on different tasks.  Employees will be exposed to the elements and subject to weather conditions while performing some of the tasks associated with this position.

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
