STAR Classroom Teacher at Ridge Road Elementary
Job Description:
The North Little Rock School District is seeking a qualified and passionate STAR Classroom Teacher to join the team at Ridge Road Elementary. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who specializes in Special Education and is committed to using innovative technologies to enhance student learning.
Requirements:
- Valid Arkansas Teacher's License with certification in Special Education.
- Equivalent grade-appropriate certification.
- Must meet ADE Highly Qualified Teacher status.
- Successful completion of Teacher Excellence Support System professional development.
- Ability and willingness to use current and future technologies for instruction and support.
Responsibilities:
- Instructing students in one or more subjects according to state licensure/certification and subject matter as assigned by the Director of Special Services.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technological tools to enhance educational outcomes.
- Engage with students, parents, and other staff members to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Contract:
- 190-day contract.
- Includes a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
