Maintenance Plumber

Reports To:   Director and/or Supervisor of Plant Services

Grade/Level:   9 MA-04

Amount of Travel Required:   in-district travel in a school vehicle(s)

Work Schedule:  

Positions Supervised:   none

5-days per-week,Monday through Friday,7:00AM - 3:30PM,8-hours per-day, hours and schedule may vary.Arrive 7:00AM, break 9:00AM- 9:15AM, lunch 11:30AM - 12:00P.M., break 1:30PM- 1:45PM,leave 3:30PM

 

 


POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience : Four years related experience

Computer Skills

Basic hand-held personal communications/information instrument operation preferred.

Certificates & Licenses

Obtain and maintain a valid Arkansas Journeyman’s Plumber License.
 

Other Requirements

Valid Arkansas Driver's License, ability to successfully pass pre-employment background checks, ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks, as well as "random" drug testing. The work environment is located generally in a school setting with frequent contact with students and adults. The Maintenance employee is to display appropriate behavior with students at all times.
